Gold Dust Pizza in Sutter Creek

On a tip from our weekend homeowner, we stopped off at Gold Dust Pizza in hopes of a really good Pizza pie! We were not disappointed with the Moe's BBQ Pizza that we ordered. It was delicious! A challenging combo of chicken, bacon, pineapple, and red onions, but it worked, I mean really worked, best Pizza I have enjoyed since eating at my favorite Italian pizza place in Switzerland. See pict in our post of our pie, and yes it is a dead ringer for the pie on the sign. Lots of outdoor seating, and great for families.

Oh my gosh...I like be their pizza dough...my husband bought a medium pizza and cheese bread/cheese sticks.... I could just eat the cheese sticks...they are God really good...pizza is to...it is the crust...thank you server Betsy...

The pizza and the dough are delicious. The restaurant itself is cool because it has a fun outdoor area that's great for kids.

Every visit before today would have been a 5. We have always loved this place. Today however the crust was so thin in the middle of the pizza that it was very difficult to eat. It seems that the cheese was not the same as in the past. Because it has always been great we will try one more time. We were very disappointed today.

Really good hand crafted pizza. Must try it out and see for yourself if you are in the area. I also ordered bone in and bone out buffalo wings...bomb!! Again, must try!!!

This is a really great place to visit in Sutter Creek if you want to grab dinner with friends (especially after wine tasting). It was recommended to us by two different wine tasting venues. The pizza was great and was very filling compared to other local pizza parlors. They we're very generous with the toppings and the look of the restaurant had a wonderful homestead vibe.

Great pizza good size and the arent shy with there topping or cheese. Their ranch is also SO good!

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in Northern California. Nothing compares to the fluffy perfectly cooked crust along with all the fixins. Most pizza places skimp on toppings. Not gold dust. They put plenty on and I love it.

I adore this spot! They have great food, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is a real pro, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are always good, the service towards the customers is helpful. I go often to this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all.

Hands down the best pizza place in the area ... I grew up with Pizza Plus in the Placerville area, and was excited when a Pizza Plus opened in Sutter Creek. When it transitioned into Gold Dust, I wasn't sure what to expect, as it turns out, Gold Dust improved on my favorite pizza and I can think of none better. The food is amazing, the staff is helpful and friendly, and will always work to make things right in that rare instance something goes slightly awry.

I frequent this unique place once a month as I love the ambiance that is unique to this restaurant. The personel is highly cordial and qualified. The service is absolutely quick. Most important, the food you eat is outstanding. I visited many times and I was always happy. The expense is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to to all.

All around excellent pizza. The crust was cooked perfectly, the cheese gooey and hot, totally loaded with toppings. Quaint dining room. If only there were one of these in Sacramento...

Incredible meatball calzone! Huge portions! Vegetables were done just right, cooked & crispy. Meatballs were well seasoned and the crust was not too thick or too thin. 5/5 stars.

Gold Dust Pizza has great quality pizza at prices better than those offered at most big pizza chains. They have a nice selection of beer and wine as well. While the inside seating is rather cramped (because the place is so popular), outside, both front and back, there is more spacious seating. There's even a basement grotto for private parties. I highly recommend it.

This pizza spot is by far one of the best in Amador County. Its a little hidden down a side street in Sutter Creek and there is never any damn parking, but if your able to find it and fight your way in the pizza is amazing . The food overall is pretty good and decently priced, there are specials that are perfect for almost any need and they are quick with minimal wait times. A really good experience.

Best pizza you will ever eat and such a cool building.

Amazing pizza. Ice cold beer. Outside tables by Sutter Creek. What could be better? Truly a unique experience in a sublime setting.

Wow was this an unexpected great lunch! Such good crust! Lots of good ingredients combined well, we were super pleased. Neat old converted house off from the main street, but with good parking. The front and back yards are nice outdoor eating spaces. I told the person making the crusts Gold Dust was my new favorite pizza.

Party of 26 for rehearsal dinner and everything was perfect!! The pizza is of course the best in town and the beer is always ice cold. The staff is helpful and attentive checking on us and bringing what we needed. Good times!

They load their pizza to the max capacity. Very favorful too. The outside seating area is nice. Only bad thing I can say is, they only have one bathroom.

The pizza and breadsticks were fantastic! The pizza had fresh toppings, just the right amount of toppings and the sauce was seasoned just right! This is a great pizza place, worth a trip!

Not exactly sure how or why this place has so many good ratings. This was the worst pizza ive had in a long time, if you like 5lbs of cheese on your pizza then this is the place for you! It was entirely way too much totally ruined it for us. We spent $50 on 3 pizzas, ate 1 slice and literally threw them away. Honestly the most subpar pizza I've ever had. Don't waste your money. Don't go here.

I call this excellent restaurant from time to time because I love the special atmosphere that is unique to this restaurant. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably loyal and well trained. The service is deeply efficient. Needless to say, the food you get is great. I ate there more than once and I was always satisfied. The payment is decent. I highly recommend this place to all my friends.

I have had pizza all over the world, and this is the best pizza I have ever had. The pizza is outstanding and has great quality ingredients! The crust and dough is cooked perfectly, it is crunchy, but not even close to over cooked. They make and cook each pizza to order then bring it to you

Best pizza crust ever!!! Just like my friend said it's like that picture out of Sunset magazine the pizza you've been hunting for all these years tucked away on a small little Street in a Gold Rush town! Beautiful outdoor seating with a view of the creek-worth the drive!

Very good pizza, seating is first come. The back section wasnt open when our group of ten went, but they still did their best to accommodate a large group

I don't normally eat much pizza but we stopped by this cute place as we were strolling around Sutter Creek looking for a dog friendly place for lunch.The pizza was absolutely delicious with a perfect crust and the boneless wings were a great accompaniment. Highly recommend!

This place is a must stop in Sutter Creek! The breadsticks and pizza are so delicious!!

Really good pizza. It’s nice outside but there are a lot of bugs around. Next time I will sit inside if they have space. Bathrooms don’t have a changing table but it would be nice if they did. If you take it to go, it will be better than having it there.

Delicate yet crispy crust with over abundance of toppings? Just the right sause and yummy cheese...the best ever? I'm a believer

Best pizza I've ever had in my life

It wasn't such a great experience. We were recommended by a friend so we thought we'd try it out. We drove up from Sacramento....its my wife's birthday. I ordered a small plain cheese pizza with extra cheese and my wife ordered a calzone without onions. Seems pretty simple....well not so much.My pizza was way over cooked and crunched like a cracker with two pieces that had no cheese lol i mean zero! Not only was there no cheese on the extra cheese but i think she thought it was extra sauce. It was gross.My wifes calzone without onions was loaded with onions! Like again, they thought she maybe wanted extra onions, when she didn't want ANY! It was her birthday lunch so she had them make it over again. I gave two stars because the town of Sutter Creek is soooo cute!! Lots of shops and places to eat so we will be back to Sutter Creek again but probably not to Gold Dust Pizza:(

Nice for outside dining.

This place is a family favorite and we drive 45 minutes to eat there. The pizza is great, the people are fun and the building is gorgeous!Tip: go when the weather is good and head out back after ordering. You will love the view and vibes.

Great food but maybe don't let staff have political views written on their masks...this is a restaurant we're just here to eat(Edit: it was resolved, food's still delicious:))

This pizzeria seems always to be staffed with teenagers who really know customer service, like they were recruited from a high school honor society service club. Pies are all densely delicious. Pretty building with a large backyard dining area adjacent to Sutter Creek. It is surrounded by fences and has a thick fake lawn so it is great for little kids to frolic. One evening I saw 4 cats playing in the front yard. Only one pizzeria in the Mother Lode country compares, in Angel's Camp.

Love the topping and cheese and sauce. Love the deal on 4 drinks, cheese sticks and pizza. Would suggest that the dipping sauce is warm.

This place is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a proper dinner, this place comes straight to my head. exeptionalgorgeous and diverse food and a large menu.generous crew, and nice ambience. Not less important, the cost is reasonable. I tell about this place with no hesitation.

Good pizza and cute location just off the main street. Plenty of room in the back for outdoor eating. One of the few places that are open after 3:00pm on Monday.
